10 Craft Ideas To Do With Strawberry Coloring Pages

Below are 10 fun, free, and creative craft ideas that you can do with these coloring pages!

10. Summertime Birthday Cards

Before printing out the coloring page, you’ll need to shrink the image to a fourth of its size and put it in the lower right corner of the page.

Print out as many copies as you need and fold it in half once and again, so that the illustration is on the front “page.”

Have the children color in the image – and be sure to write Happy Birthday on the inside!

This could also work as a spring or summer card; if you’re a parent, it could accompany a gift for a teacher at the end of the year.

9. Strawberry Facts Booklets

If you’re doing a lesson on gardening or even biology, you can tackle the mighty strawberry and have the children create facts booklets.

Print out four to six different illustrations and have children both color in the pages and write facts that they found about strawberries.

When they’re done, you can three-hole punch the pages and either put them in a binder or tie them up with yarn or string.

You could even make a cover page with one of the illustrations cut down and pasted onto a piece of construction paper.

8. Strawberry Bookmarks

For this craft, you’ll need something to color in the illustration, some glue, scissors, and construction paper.

Have children color in just the strawberry one on the coloring pages and then have them carefully cut it out.

Have them trace the strawberry shape onto a piece of red or green construction paper and then cut that out along the lines.

Glue the construction paper to the illustration cut-out, and voilà – you’ve got yourself a handy, dandy bookmark!

If you have access to a laminating machine, you could also reinforce the bookmarks for longevity.

7. Strawberry Button Seeds

Encourage the children to color in the coloring page of choice, including the strawberry and any background.

Then, you’ll need lots of little black buttons, because you’re going to glue the buttons onto the strawberry in an approximation of where the seeds are.

Let the glue dry, and you have yourself an adorable little craft perfect for a wall or fridge.

6. Strawberry Magnets

For this craft, you’ll either need to shrink the page slightly or choose a coloring page with medium-to-small strawberries.

Get the children to color in just the strawberries and then cut them out.

You’ll laminate them, and then the next day, hot glue little magnets (which you can find at any craft store or even some dollar stores) to the backs.

Let dry for a few hours to overnight, and you’ve got yourself a set of cute magnets for the fridge, the stove or

5. Strawberry Wrapping Paper

Perfect for a little gift box or item, have the children color in one of the illustrations and then use the paper for gift wrap.

If you’re savvy with a computer, you could also turn the illustration into a pattern, but it also works just fine as-is.

4. Strawberry Gift Bags

Choose an illustration where the strawberry is more upright and have the children color it in, especially the green top. Then have them cut it out.

Next, take some rubber cement, a glue stick, or even Elmer’s and affix the strawberry to the bag, so that the strawberry’s little cap pokes up over the top.

You could also use a more horizontal strawberry and center it on the bag, but you won’t have the cute effect of the strawberry’s cap.

3. Strawberry Ornaments

Ideal for hanging on windows or doors, strawberry ornaments are so simple and easy to make.

Simply have children color in the strawberries on the coloring page of choice and have them cut them out.

Then, using a pencil or a hole punch, put a hole in the top of the strawberry’s cap and string yawn or twine through.

Adjust to the length you’d like, cut it off and tie it up.

2. Strawberry Hanging Decorations

For a simple party or classroom decoration, have the children color in the strawberries on a coloring page.

You could even mix things up and have the kids pick which strawberries they want to color.

Then they’ll cut them out (and make sure they put their names on the back!).

You’ll put a hole through the tops of each and then, using yarn, twine, or even ribbon, string the strawberries together all in one line.

Hang up for the perfect summertime decoration.

1. Strawberry Summer Fans

For this craft, you’ll need glue and popsicle sticks, in addition to the strawberry illustration.

Instruct the children to color in the strawberry of their choice – a larger one is preferred.

Have them cut out the strawberry and then fold it up like an accordion, making pleats that are about half an inch big.

Then, crossing the popsicle sticks so that they make an X, glue the ends just inside the back of the pleated strawberry.

You could also reinforce the strawberry before pleating it with construction paper or posterboard cut to size.
